Astra Style — Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and [[NEEDS INPUT: full legal entity name]], of [[NEEDS INPUT: registered entity address]] ("we", "us"), covering your use of the Astra Style iPhone app and the services behind it.

By creating an account, or by using the app in guest mode, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Who may use Astra Style

You must be at least 18 years old. The app handles photographs of your face and body and your body measurements, and it is not built for anyone under 18. [[NEEDS INPUT: confirm 18 is the intended minimum and that it matches the App Store age rating in every market]]

You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping access to it secure.

3. What Astra Style is — and is not

Astra Style is a personal styling app. Kyra, the stylist in the app, gives opinions about clothing generated by software. Those opinions are suggestions, not professional advice, and they can be wrong.

Specifically:

• Styling and shopping suggestions are not financial advice. Deciding to buy something is your decision.
• Fit guidance is an estimate from the measurements and photographs you provide. It does not guarantee that any garment will fit.
• Nothing in the app is medical, nutritional or health advice.
• Prices, availability and sizes shown for products come from retailers and can be out of date. The retailer's own listing is the accurate one.

4. Your account and guest mode

You can sign in with Apple or with an email link or one-time code, or you can use guest mode without an account. Guest mode is limited: a local closet capped at 10 items, no cloud sync, one Style Studio sample, and no shopping history. Guest data is stored only on your device and we cannot recover it — if you delete the app or lose the device, it is gone. If you later create an account, the app offers to upload your guest data to it.

5. Content you upload

5.1 You must have the right to upload it

This is the most important rule in these terms.

• Do not upload a photograph of another person without that person's permission. If a photograph shows someone other than you, you must have their informed permission to upload it and to have it processed and used to generate images.
• Do not upload photographs of children.
• Do not upload images you do not own or otherwise have the right to use.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Do not use Style Studio to create images of an identifiable person for the purpose of impersonating, deceiving, harassing, or misrepresenting them.

You are responsible for the content you upload. We may remove content and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

5.2 Rights in your content

Your content stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display it, and to send it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy, strictly for the purpose of operating the app for you — analysing your garments, generating outfits and Style Studio images, and answering your questions. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for a short period in backups. We do not use your content to train models by default, and we do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for the current, honestly-qualified position on model training.

6. Generated images

Style Studio produces images by machine. Every one of them:

• is labelled in the app as a generated image;
• is a visual styling estimate, not a photograph — it does not show how a garment will actually fit, drape, or match in colour, and it is not an accurate representation of you;
• may contain errors and artefacts, including in the way it renders your face or body.

The app is designed not to alter or "improve" your body. Do not present a generated image as a real photograph of a person, and do not use it in a way that would mislead someone about what a garment looks like or about what someone did or wore.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Astra Style has a free tier and a paid subscription, Astra Style Premium. The free tier is limited — including a cap on closet items, limited outfit generation, a limited number of Kyra conversations per day, and a single Style Studio trial. Premium removes or raises those limits and adds features. The limits and prices in force are shown in the app and in the App Store before you purchase.

• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not process your payment and never see your payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You cancel or change a subscription in your Apple account settings, not in the app.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
• Purchases can be restored from the app.

8. Affiliate links

Some product links in Astra Style are affiliate links, and we may be paid a commission if you buy through one. This never changes Kyra's verdict on a product and never changes how products are ranked for you. The full explanation is in the companion document Astra Style — Affiliate Disclosure.

We are not the seller. Purchases you make at a retailer are between you and that retailer, under their terms, and they are responsible for the product, the price, delivery and returns.

9. Acceptable use

Do not:

• break the law, or use the app to help someone else break it;
• attempt to access another user's data, or to bypass the access controls in the service;
• scrape, bulk-download, or resell the service or its output;
• reverse engineer the app except where the law says you may;
• overload, disrupt or probe the service, or use it through automated clients not provided by us;
• use the service to build a competing model or dataset.

10. Availability and changes

Features may change, and features described in the app or in our documentation may not be available yet. We may add, alter or withdraw features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. We will not make a material change to a paid subscription's core benefits without telling you.

11. Our intellectual property

The app, its design, the Astra Style and Kyra names and marks, and the software behind them belong to us. These terms give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app. They do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Astra Style at any time and can ask us to delete your account — see the companion document Astra Style — Deleting your account and your data. Cancelling a subscription is separate, and is done through Apple.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

13. Disclaimers

17. App Store terms

You obtained Astra Style through Apple's App Store, and Apple's own terms apply to that distribution alongside these terms. Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app or for support of it. 18. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Astra Style after that means you accept the new terms.
